The iPhone app – Beejive IM recently added voice messaging and file transfer features to increase usability. While connecting onto AIM, Google Talk, ICQ, Jabber MSN, Myspace IM and Yahoo! Messenger; you now have the addition of photo/audio/video file transfer. File formats supported by the app are PDF and MS Office related docs.
The downside of the app is that it costs $16 to have all these features. If you think the IM app is loaded enough to be worth that much for your iPhone, then try it out. I would stick to sending files and using voice from my trusted notebook. [App Store link]
Hope they have also application like this for Blackberry.
