Intense Debate also comes up with their Wordpress Plugin

Bilal Hameed

Intense Debate Intense Debate, another startup fighting really hard to conquer the comment space along with Disqus and JS Kit, has now launched an updated version of their Wordpress plugin.  The Intense Debate plugin comes hot on the heels of a similar release by Disqus which is a testimonial of how hot this space really is.

The Intense Debate plugin is currently in private alpha testing with beta testing starting from Sunday, 24th of August. The plugin would be released to the general public shortly thereafter.

Intense Debate has not provided much information on the feature list of the plugin. According to the blog:

The new IntenseDebate Wordpress plugin is one of a kind, featuring advanced integrations that you won’t find and can’t get anywhere else. I can’t spill the beans on our full feature list yet, but one of the key ingredients is complete data sync like nothing you’ve seen before. That’s all I can say right now, but let your imagination run wild with this - if you can dream it, well, we’ve most likely done it.

To me this sounds like a release, where a competitor tries to make a point that we have our eyes set on this feature too, so don’t get on the bandwagon of another service as yet.
