Intel the leading chip maker has made some price cuts on a number of chips including Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Duo, Pentium dual-core, Celeron, processors and Xeon products. Some products (Q9650 and X3370 both with 3.0 GHz) received 40% price cuts, but the biggest one was seen on mobile Celeron 570 with 2.0 GHz which saw the price slash of 48%.
