Following in AMD’s footsteps it was learnt that Intel is also working to make a processor for thin and low-costing laptops. This will mean that laptops the thickness of less than one inch (25mm) will be available for much less than the likes of MackBook Air and Voodoo Envy 133. However the performance of the machines will differ by far, though prices will be somewhere between that of a netbook and a notebook.
