InnerRewards, a site that will provide editorial content, user reviews and would allow them to network with others around the basic theme of healthcare and wellness, has raised $1 million in an angel round from undisclosed investors.
According to VentureBeat:
Chief executive Julie Elaine Brown says the San Francisco company is the first to combine all these features across the full spectrum of spas, yoga instructors, alternative medicine practitioners, and more. Although these services may seem like luxuries that could be cut from budgets in the current economy, Brown says many people see them as priorities that are essential to their health.
