Google has an option in its Google Profile through which people who find your profile can get in touch with you, by messaging. If you go to the edit menu in your Google Profile, you’ll find that there’s a contact form there, with an option to have your photo as well. Through the contact form you can receive messages directly to your inbox, of the email address you set in your profile. Google’s say on this:

"We’ve set some limits on how often messages can be sent and received, and you can disable the feature at any time by editing your profile and deselecting the checkbox."
