The online music service iLike is looking for a buyer, sources confirm. Talks with a list of buyers are underway including RealNetworks and Ticketmaster. iLike founders Hadi and Ali Partovi must be have a hard time following up the company as a standalone service – with competition like iMeem making it even harder. Ticketmaster owns 25% of iLike already, however it remains to be known how much the company would go for.

We found though, that in two years, iLike has raised about $16 million from Ticketmaster, and Pittman’s Pilot Group, etc. iLike struck gold with its Facebook app in 2007, attracting more than 5.4 million active monthly users.
