This one is going to create some ripples as IBM gets in talks to acquire Sun Microsystems. The cash that IBM will be paying for this buyout would be a minimum of $6.5 billion. This is going to strengthen Sun’s server computer products and help it stand in a better position against rivals like Hewlett Packard Co. Many firms have had their eyes at buying the company and one that Sun desperately needs given the poor performance over the past few years. Plus IBM can make use of the vast engineering talent that waits to be redeployed and may very well be used to benefit IBM that would love to push its market share in data center sales.

Hi Sardar. Just to draw your attention – the amount in the title (million) is different to the one in the post itself (billion). Seems like mistyped.
You might want to correct it.

Couldn?t be written any better. Looking over this post reminds me of my old room mate! He always kept discussing this. I am going to forward this write-up to him. Pretty certain he’ll have a great read. Thanks for sharing!
