The $6.5 billion buyout of Sub Microsystems by IBM is seeing some hiccups. IBM is cutting its offer price for the firm from $10 to $9 per share as reports state. The drop is much lower than the anticipated $11 per share that IBM was rumored to buy Sun for. If this deal turns to reality IBM would have a much larger lead in the server market over competitors is HP and Dell Inc.
