IBM is soon to release its iNotes Ultralite app, on Tuesday, providing a way to get Lotus Notes email on the iPhone. The Web application will be released for Notes administrators as well. It allows to access Notes email through the Safari mobile browser on the iPhone. Administrators are required to install the IBM Lotus Domino Web Access 8.0.2, in order for the web app to work properly.

Where the support for Microsoft’s Exchange technology was another popular addition to the iPhone 3G, there are reports of IBM and Apple working on bringing the Lotus Notes Traveler software to the iPhone. iNotes Ultralite is a free service from IBM so be sure to download and check it out.
