SPSS, analytics software ad solutions provider, SPSS has been acquired by IBM. The cash value of the acquisition is close to the $1.2 Billion. The acquisition awaits shareholder approval of SPSS and the deal might most probably be closed in the later half of this year. SPSS analyses data from people to predict how they will behave in the future. It will be integrated into IBM’s Software Group and Information Management division.
