IBM the computing giant, has declared its intention to buy the Hong Kong based company Outblaze, a Chinese email and messaging company. Based in Hong Kong, the company trades hosted multi-language messaging and email services to various other service providers. With this deal, the Chinese company will become part of the Bluehouse project of IBM Lotus.

According to IBM Lotus Software’s general manager, Bob Picciano:

The acquisition of these Outblaze assets further demonstrates Lotus’ commitment to delivering secure, scalable online solutions, and will help accelerate delivery of collaborative services, with little to no IT involvement.
