Hyper9 has raised $8 million in Series B funding. The round was led by Venrock, joined by returning Matrix Partners, Maples Investments and Silverton Partners. The service provides services to help leverage various Internet technologies like search, collaboration and social networking. CEO and founder of Hyper9, Chris Ostertag stated in a release:
