Hungry & Stuck in Traffic? CityMint is Your Way Out

CropperCapture[2]Don’t have time to wait for your meal? Check out CityMint and order your food on the go.

All you got to do is to create a CityMint account. Then you’ll be able to browse hundreds of menus on your cell phone. You can either order by text messaging or by phone’s browser. The service is for pickup and delivery both.

Here is how it works; choose your favourite delight and send your order to the specific restaurant, CityMint will confirm your order with the restaurant and let you know about it with the estimate preparation time through an e-mail. You can then pick up your order or get it delivered.

Searching is not proper on the site. I searched different street addresses from different states but couldn’t find anything until I read in the ‘About Us’ section that they’re specific to San Francisco (how user friendly is that?).

Navigation through different pages is also improper. If you are in ‘Contact Us’ section and want to go back to the homepage, you won’t find the home link, you have to either click on the logo or write the URL again.

After thinking for a while I made a decision that I should never use this service while I’m stuck in the traffic. Why? I think it would be better for me and others to concentrate on road rather than my lunch. Secondly, using mobile phone while driving is a violation of law (isn’t it?).

Right now they are providing services in San Francisco but they plan to expand to other cities as well.

I think they should motivate users to avail this service if they are stuck in work rather than traffic. This would help them increase their user base.
