There are reports of Hulu developing an app for the iPhone and iPod Touch, not just that, the app is expected to be as good as the site itself. The videos can be streamed over both the WiFi and the 3G networks. While there are plenty of apps already that offer the same, having Hulu might just be alluring enough for Apple to have in its armory, though it would stand in direct competition with its own iTunes video store. There can be a few more issues, like users unable to download videos to view them later. Despite all this, it might just help boost business for Apple (in terms of sales of iPhone/iPod Touch) and bag more subscriptions. Why so? Hulu is pretty popular in the US and might push the number for people who watch videos on their mobiles.
