In a new move, Hewlett-Packard is offering to buy your tech gadgets in exchange for money. The equipment should be in working condition and can be a PC, monitor, printer, digi-cam, or smartphone. There’s a quote website that’s setup by HP so you can find out what your gadgets are worth.

If you think the quote is worth it, you can mail HP your equipment thereafter you’ll receive a check from the company, by mail. FedEx has a ‘Premium Service’ for this where it picks up the item from your home and the cost is deducted from the check you are to receive from HP. Note: The delivery service costs would be from your side. Though if you own a product by HP or Compaq and are thinking of dumping your equipment it would be a better option to mail it to HP – at least that way it would be recycled rather than adding to the waste.
