Well CNN may have had its taste of hologram technology during the election campaign but chances are that a regular user like one of us may have the same technology for themselves. The Holocube which will be shipping in 10, 15 and 17  inch models is a projector that works by storing videos in an inbuilt hard drive and then generates a 3D hologram using the same and can store 18 hours of compressed video.
