GreenPoisOn based on the Limera1n exploit has been reported to be fully capable of jailbreaking the Apple TV 2G. And this isn’t rumor as we have got an image of the Apple TV with a custom background image on the device running the iOS 4.1.
The Chronic dev team appears to be on the watch for any existing and upcoming Apple iOS device with their sleeves rolled up to jailbreak the devices. Now I am not sure how or for what joy you get out of jailbreaking your iPhone 4, 3G, 3GS, iPod Touch and the iPad but it definitely gives the developers out there a chance to create apps and test their talents to the fullest. Without having to wait in that dreaded and heavily police App Store. Let me specify here that this GreenPoisOn jailbreak is not available for public as yet. But that shouldn’t take long, maybe a week or two at most before we are up with a step by step guide on how to jailbreak Apple TV 2G with GreenPoisOn.
