Looks like people had been waiting crazily for the Chronic Dev team to release the GreenPois0n iOS 4.2.1 untethered jailbreak for the iPhone, iPod Touch and the iPad. Yesterday we announced the release of GreenPois0n untethered jailbreak along with a short guide on how to jailbreak your iPhone using the same. Today Windows users have gone lucky as well.
The Dev team released the Windows version of the untethered jailbreak tool as well, which like the version for Mac is fully compatible with the iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPad and all generations of the iPod Touch. For those of you who are interested in jailbreaking their iPhone or any other iOS device, they can find procedures for jailbreaking iOS4.2.1 untethered on Windows right here. The procedures in no way differ from those followed on the Mac release.
