Goosh provides an interface for google which works just like unix-shell. Commands are taken in as input and are executed. It is not an official google shell.
The default language is set to English but you can change it using lang command e.g. you can set language to French by writing lang fr. To get started you can use help/h command. It will display a number of commands along with their parameters and functions which will be helpful in understanding their functions.
As it is a google shell, it contain commands which are mostly related to google. You can search specifically like google images, news, blogs, feeds, videos, maps, etc. You can open any URL using specific command. Particular websites can also be searched.
The thing which I liked the most in this shell is the ability to translate in different languages like English to French, Arabic to English, French to Arabic etc.
This site gives you a glimpse of unix-shell (in google). Currently it is in beta stage but it is absolutely refreshing for command prompt lovers (like me), though some GUI users may not like it. Anyway thumbs up for Stefan Grothkopp (writer of goosh). We hope that we would be able to see more good stuff in the final version.
