Broadcast service generated by professionals and users, Goom Radio has raised more than $16 million in its first round of funding. The round was participated by Wellington Partners, Venture Capital, Partech International and Elaia Partners. Goom Radio had earlier expanded its horizons by launching its service in France. It offers users free and ad suported service and lets its users select stations that best suit their interests. With the funds in pockets, Goom Radio is also planning to release its own app for the phones.
