I love watching stars at night and learning about the constellations, but probing the Sky with a telescope and trying to read through a printed map to find the constellation is tiring. Well Google makes that very easy with SkyMap, an Android app that tells you the star/constellation your phone is pointing it. It utilizes the phone’s compass and accelerometer, all thanks to GPS informs you about the names of each based on your location. The app was officially launched today at Google’s Searchology event in which Google also introduced Search Options for search.
