image thumb203 Google’s co founder, Brin launches his blog; “I might develop Parkinson’s”Sergey Brin appears to have decided at sharing his life outside work in the blogosphere by launching his own blog at too.blogspot.com. The very first post by the cofounder welcomes its readers defining briefly the purpose of launching his blog. However the most important mention here is of Brin suffering from a gene mutation that leads to Parkinson’s disease; which is a disorder of central nervous system.

Although he isn’t having the disease but odds are that he has 20 to 80% chances of contracting the disease. Brin who carries mutation of the LRRK2 gene known as G2019S might very well get hit with Parkinson’s. Brin, America’s 13th richest with over $15.9 billion assets has shown interest at investing for research in the disease. Brin wrote in his blog:

I feel fortunate to be in this position. Until the fountain of youth is discovered, all of us will have some conditions in our old age only we don’t know what they will be. I have a better guess than almost anyone else for what ills may be mine — and I have decades to prepare for it.
