I am not sure if this is all new and breaking or if this has been around in tests for some time but the Google Translate page appears to have got a Facelift. It’s not just a makeover but the service is getting some new features. The new inclusions will let you do more with Translate and while I haven’t tried them as yet some include:
- Help Google improve Translate.
- Google Chrome extension which will enable auto translate for pages in languages you don’t understand.
- Phrasebooks and pronunciations for your Android device to help you on your next trip to a foreign state.
- Google Translate Toolbar to help you instantly find translation for a word on a any page.
I will be testing the Android App shortly and return with my opinion on this later. Please confirm if this has been around for some time or is just a test. I personally find it more useful and cleaner.
