The current economic crisis has made a number of companies to rethink about their market strategy and Google is no exception. Now the search engine giant will allow search ads for champagne and beer. Disallowing such ads was Google’s long standing policy. According to a representative of Google:

We regularly review Google AdWords content policies and make changes to keep them current and effective.
