google logo Google, an Internet giant, constantly adds new features and apps in its services to make them all more interesting and user friendly. Google Search is also a part of Google’s ongoing working list, that tends to enhance its search mechanism by  introducing various new search features. Its been not long when Google introduced a Search feature that allows users to vote for any search result along with some recommendations.  Google has always strategically tested its new features on number of randomly selected users to check its functionality and productivity. On successful completion of testing phase, the features are moved into an experimental area for all users.

The whole process, known as bucket test allows Company to have a clear cut idea of its user’s choice. Recently, Google has done a bucket test about its new Search Engine feature. According to TechCrunch, the new feature shows an UP arrow or a Cross sign (X) against each search result. Users can add any search result to the total vote count  by hitting an Up Arrow and turning it green.  It allows its users to alter their votes after submitting, the thing that was missing from the previously above mentioned feature.

Anyone who has noticed this new feature in their Google Search engine is welcome to share his/her experience. The feature seems to be quite old-fashioned and boring. It could make site more messy as anyone can vote for any site on their personal discriminations. This would probably results in the elimination of a  refinery search system making it more vulnerable to spam.
