While Google has got the Voice feature in works in the US, it is unavailable globally. The feature is a must have, one that everyone can use, would want to use. There have been rumors about Google working on bringing Google Voice to Europe as well and soon to the rest of its global community. While this is still some time away, reports yesterday put brought forth the Google SIM. Could this be how Google plan on bringing the Voice feature to the Europe and other countries?
I am bit more tilt in the direction of passing in on as real thing, especially with the Google ES as carrier once the SIM is popped in the Google Nexus S. But then, faking isn’t a huge problem, I can clone an iPhone to make a hiPhone in China, clone a service, clone a website and what not. Hence putting Google ES as carrier isn’t a huge issue with the talented developers and designers out there.
Maybe Google is testing this out in some European region, but it surprises me. Why not the US? Is it because the users in the US have the Google Voice already? Whatever the case be, lets see what Google has in real on this one. Just a thought, has anyone read it on a Google Blog or seen Google.sim being registered as a domain?
