Google has launched a separate, standalone installer for Chrome users. The new installer won’t auto-update, meaning all the future releases of the browser will be missed out and those include security features as well. Though users can manually download the installer from the site. This can be useful if you need to carry to the setup file with you, incase you bump into a cousin’s machine that has no Chrome installed, otherwise it’s pretty unwanted.
