While we enjoyed the weekend Google continued with what it does best, releasing new features. Earlier, Google released Gmail inbox preview. The new feature lets you see a preview of the ten most recent emails in your inbox while it loads. While it may not sound all that useful, it actually is, especially on days when your Internet crawls like a snail and you don’t want to waste time for the inbox to load only to find no new email. You can turn the feature on from here.

Why not a button to just show unread mail?

Because this feature would provide you a preview of each of the unread mails while it loads. This would let you know if the mails in your inbox are worth reading.
Sounds quite useless, but trust me it is useful in places where the internet speed is ‘very’ slow.
