The array of introduced updates includes friends worldwide, tagging with note, alphabetical ordering and the last-crawl date. Google Readers now support international sharing through its new ‘Friends Everywhere’ update. The new tagging system allows you to add a tag while adding a note so that people who use lots of tags could easily manage their subscriptions.

Users with plenty of subscribed feeds will surely find it useful as it will make feeds easy to manage and organize while you can switch to your original ‘drag and drop’ style with an ‘options’ menu in the bottom-left corner of the Reader. The new timestamp for the last time a feed was crawled can give you a clear idea of when at what time you read the particular feed. We really appreciate the updates in Google Readers.
