The Ponemon Institute carried out its fifth survey, involving 6,500 people asking them about the web companies that they thought to be most trustworthy. The Search giant, Google disappeared from the list of the 20 most trustworthy sites, although it was placed at 10 last year. The reason they used to justify the removal of Google to be the big company syndrome, which makes people question why the large and more successful companies collect data? However there were new entrants in the list, including Yahoo and Apple.
