I felt so bad missing this one out, NASA and Google in collaboration with well known name in science are starting a new university named, Singularity University. The purpose of this would be to find solutions to the problems that humanity faces. It involves known names including, Dr. Ray Kurzweil, Ft. Peter Diamandis, Pete Worden (Director NASA Ames), co-founder of International Space University Dr. Robert Richards, along with numerous sponsors that include Google. It will offer various subjects for study and research (full list here). it is one of the best steps taken in recent times by the known names in science and I bet this prove to be of great benefit for the entire humanity. I personally love the name that so wonderfully defines the purpose, those of you who don’t know what singularity is, it is a mathematical term that defines a point of infinite density.
