Despite concern shown by various people regarding Street View attacking their privacy, etc; no matter what allegations are put up against it, Street View definitely comes assisting its users.

The latest development comes with the much waited launch of Street View for the mobile devices.

The launch offers same level of display as is available for the desktop version. The version lets you access Street View from any address, giving you the same view of your surroundings as you are accustomed to for the desktop version. What could be better than having a know how of what direction and place you are heading up for as you ride in your vehicle.

Added with other features that include having business reviews about places you are to visit, tipping you in with information whether the place is worth it or not. To add more Street View for mobiles offers improvement in speed and an added accuracy for pointing out places, so that every step you take, is in the right direction.

This is currently available for almost every Java enabled mobile phone and Blackberry with efforts to expand the platform further into various devices as well. The version can be downloaded here.

I personally think that the idea to launch prime services for the mobile interface can prove pretty successful given the rapid expansion in the efficiency and functionality of mobile devices. Users will find it more helpful to watch Google Maps and Street View on their cell-phones as they move towards their destination.
