Google Map maker, a service which was launched almost three months ago, is now available for seventeen more Asian countries. the service lets users participate in the process of making the map by giving options such as adding points, drawing lines (roads, railway, etc.) and shapes (lake, local parks etc.). Google Map Maker has a YouTube channel where you can find user help videos and timelapse videos which shows how the map has changed with time.

There are a lot of cases where users have designed the whole map of the city from scratch. This effort has been appreciated by Google. The countries added are mostly of Central Asia. Following is the list of countries added:
