Google has come out with another one of its useful tool to help users learn if their connections are being foiled by service providers. The new tool named, Measurement Labs (it’s in beta of course) an open source platform build in collaboration with the Planet Labs and New America Foundation. The idea is to provide researchers with 36 servers across a dozen locations in the U.S and Europe. In a blog post Google mentioned:
All data collected via M-Lab will be made publicly available for other researchers to build on. M-Lab is intended to be a truly community-based effort, and we welcome the support of other companies, institutions, researchers, and users that want to provide servers, tools, or other resources that can help the platform flourish.
