Google Latitude lets you share your location with friends

Sardar Mohkim Khan

Google Mobile Maps got loaded with Google Latitude that enables users to send out their location to family and friends. This is done by using the coordinates of their cell-phones through the GPS. Many of us are familiar with the GPS’ blue dot that gives you your locations but with Latitude you can share the same with people you need to by instant messaging or email. But that doesn’t mean your privacy is at risk as the feature lets you control the level of privacy you need, just enter your false location and share. It is currently available in 27 countries on Windows Mobile, Nokia S60s and Blackberries. The service is pretty close to Fire Eagle that Yahoo had released earlier.
