Google’s Latitude has become everyone’s favorite almost overnight as it had more than million users using it. That number might sound less given that the service was launched across 20 countries, but despite that the numbers are impressive. I mean who wouldn’t like knowing the location of ones friends using the same service? I only wish that Google had launched this as a stand alone app rather than associate it with other Google services as a widget. I say it’s a good news for Google given that it just won the privacy suit and is successfully keeping our locations while the web sphere worries about Facebook, it’s terms of service, etc as MG Siegler puts it.
