While I enjoyed the long weekend, I missed out on yet another Gmail feature, Google Search in Gmail. This is of great help, as it eliminates the need to open a new window for search and then copy paste the link to a search result. To enable this feature, simply turn it on in the Labs settings and the search box appears to the left of your inbox. You can also assign keyboard shortcuts to make things easier and faster, no wonder I find Gmail far more useful than many other web based email providers.
