Much awaited Beijing Olympics 2008 have started. All exhilarated sports fans are eagerly carving ways to get hooked with it. In this regard Google has genuinely contributed by aggregating all its services to fix the Summer games for its audience. Whether it would be a pre-Event coverage or post-event highlights Google always strives to keep itself abreast with the latest happenings. Here is a collection of Google’s updated maps, gadgets, videos, sites, searches, 3D images and some Google powered Chinese sites that are purely dedicated to serve Olympics.

Google has designed an eye appealing web page exclusively for Summer games. The local home page for China is more colourful than US home page and offers a great stream of updated Olympics news from Google News. The updated interactive  US page offers wholesome collection of Olympics related Google apps in the form of gadgets, maps, news, one box search and videos.

YouTube’s Olympics dedicated Channel

International Olympic Committee has regarded online Video Sharing Giant, Youtube, as an official Video Channel for the huge event. While you can grab some of the key details about its discussion here, it’s worth mentioning that Google has an honour to stream a daily three-hour video in more than 75 non-supported Olympics territories via its dedicated Beijing Olympics channel. Though it would not give you live updates of the event but it will shower its viewers with the crispy highlights of the event daily.

Google has recently enabled one box searching for Beijing Olympics 2008. One box search renders pertinent search result for your query. All you have to do is enter Olympics game name and append ‘Olympics’ with it and it will foster you with all the upcoming contests in a couple of seconds. The box is directly linked to Beijing Official Olympics website.
