Google fixed up Gmail for Blackberry users, and J2ME phones such as Nokia’s N95 and Sony Ericsson’s W910i. Now users can compose emails while they’re offline; simply write emails and hit Send. They sit in the outbox until your handset finds a network again. While Gmail is also working on compose and saving more than one draft at the same time, where users can toggle between different email accounts. Gmail aims to add more shortcut keys as well.
The offline capability is an added feature that works like a default email client, and will be of use while passing through remote locations & traveling in a subway.
