It Appears that Google has expanded its search results beyond Google Groups to every forum whose existence is known to Google. This will help out users to find better answers for their search and more importantly encourage others to answer questions more frequently. Users can however make a choice whether their search be limited to Google Groups or include all others it has indexed.
