After introducing tours in Google Earth 5.0 in February that enabled users to create virtual flythroughs across locations in Google Earth, the team has put together a few tours in a gallery. The gallery includes some fascinating flythroughs including Shrinking of Lake Chad, Introduction to Mars, etc. For that you will be needing a 30MB plugin, but that heavy weight setup is worth the effort you put in.
