Google Docs, a document sharing (editing) and storing service from Google, is heard experimenting with its ‘forms’ feature. If you need to edit a form you can click on ‘view responses’ to see charts for questions with multiple choices. It also lists the first answers for freestyle questions.
Google Docs is working on automatically generating response summaries for forms. Right now the summaries are pretty average, although they’re showing more than the raw data does.
Google needs to make the summaries interactive and customizable, hopefully that shall be taken care of before the feature is officially launched. That would enable the users to publish summaries themselves.
Also, creating a new form is now easier and a new ‘Form’ tab gives quick access to tools for creating, sending, and embedding spreadsheet forms. For a better view of the matter at hand, checkout all the spreadsheets from your Google Docs account that include forms and also checkout the neat features that have been added or upgraded.
