Although nothing would ever count to the revenue Google generates from its search business, but that wont stop it from trying this out. Google has experimented with a couple of new methods for advertisement.

We reported Google putting out the Click-to-Buy on YouTube and presently has come out with AdSense for Flash games. This had been  circulating for quite some time and the present beta hints that there is enough business in the game ad market to catch Google’s eye.

The target market has been set as the flash based games offer free gameplay for users directly within their browsers, eliminating the need too download them. And given the massive market with over  200 million games played each month, it reaches out to almost everyone. Google is set to bring forth AdSense for Games to over two dozen games and each can come out with millions of impressions owing to the fact that a countless people spend quite a lot of time.

Apart from all this, the current step opens up another frontier in the advertising market for both Microsoft and Google and given predictions that the market could fish out more than $900 million worth of revenue at the end of three years along with the mammoth worldwide userbase.

I guess Google is taking the stock slump pretty seriously and eyeing frontiers where it can generate more revenue.
