Google Chrome: ‘Why it may live beyond pessimistic predictions’

image thumb29 Google Chrome: ‘Why it may live beyond pessimistic predictions’It’s been a month since Google stepped out with Chrome to renew the browser wars, there had been an initial boost in its usage but with time it has taken a plunge. But that doesn’t mean Chrome is out for it’s not just a browser rather a platform that is set to bring every functionality one has on the Desktop to your browser.

Matt Cutts has highlighted quite a lot of reasons why Chrome can turn out to be a success in due time. The reasons given by the Google engineer might sound too pro-Chrome but one thing is for sure, the browser operates at very high speed.

Opening new tabs and each operating and loading pages simultaneously doesn’t cause your browser to slow down, in like Firefox that has a tendency to snail things up if you have a few tabs opened up. Plus it offers stability, one thing that quite a lot of browsers are found lacking despite being the best in business for a longer period. If a page opened in one tab hangs, it doesn’t cause your entire browser to choke. It’s like running multiple systems where a crash across one piece doesn’t effect the functionality of other.

There has been quite a lot against it as well, especially the EULA controversy that marred the browser, but that is so common with Google now. What actually makes the browser stand out is that it enables developers outside the Chrome team to come forward and experiment with the browser. So there’s plenty it has to offer and a month is too early to label Chrome as a failure.
