According to a report from InformationWeek, it is confirmed that Google Chrome is going to make the add-ons and user scripts support available for users. Although Chrome gained popularity with its release, it wasn’t looking complete with out add-ons and user scripts, but with the addition of such options it won’t be unusual to see more users attracted towards the new browser.
Other than the regular extensions, Greasemonkey scripts will also be supported. According to Aaron Boodman, the Greasemonkey founder:
The Firefox things extend your browser, so to speak, and then there are user scripts. We intend to do both of those in Google Chrome.
It seems that Firefox and Google Chrome will generate rivalry in the coming days but that doesn’t means Internet Explorer will leave the field. Whatever the case is, users will certainly get the best stuff.
