UserScripts, in its latest release, has introduced GmailAgenda. It is actually a script by Greasemonkey which lets you modify the display of a webpage using small JavaScript bits. There are number of scripts available for a range of websites at UserScript.

The main feature of this release is the integration of Google Calendar in Gmail account and agenda view.

According to UserScript on their latest release:

GmailAgenda integrates your Google Calendar in to your GMail account plus some other improvements.

What the script actually does is that it utilizes the embedded view of Google Calendar and incorporates an option of adding occurrences/events to the calendar. The calendar which is integrated, lies at the sidebar and you can’t minimize it. This means that you have to bear the calendar’s visibility even if you don’t want.

Another way to have a look at Google Calendar is by adding iGoogle gadget in the side bar. This way you won’t be needing any further extensions. The sidebar can then be seen even when you’re not logged in your Gmail account and it can also be closed down.

Recently Google Calendar has been released in 8 more languages, making the total number of languages to 38. Furthermore Gmail and Google Calendar will probably be coming offline soon.

What a misleading headline. Makes it seem as if there’s some sort of integration created by Google.
