We reported of Gears taking Gmail offline, today Google announced taking Google Calendar offline as well. Although I don’t really find this one all that fascinating and useful compared to the news about Gmail coming to the desktop and then we already knew something of this sort is going to happen. That’s just a personal view, even those who would have been waiting for this will be disappointed as the offline version doesn’t let you add or modify events. This one will only going to have some success with the business men, others would find the table calendar more useful.
