Wow, Why? Ahem, sorry but it surprises me why would officials in Germany try to put a ban on Google Analytics? The reason? Well the service uses valuable data from the site and provides statistics based on these. Which according to them is illegal since Google or companies using Analytics, never ask for user permission to use the data. Worse still, they will fine firms who continue to use this. Well this means more than 10% of German sites must get ready to pay those fines.
Whatever be the case, I am finally able to gulp this down. Primarily due to the fact it’s pretty common to see all this ban coming from Germany, since the country prohibits any of the user data to be used in any way [point at Google Analytics].
