Google Alerts added a new and convenient option for its users – now subscribe to feeds instead of getting periodic emails. Feeds notifies users if there are new pages in the list of top results for a particular query. Users can also subscribe to alerts for web-search, Google News, blog search, Google Groups, & Google Video.
